I was invited to a closed seminar, “SFC Forum: The 101st Regular Luncheon Gathering”. The event was held in Tokyo, Japan, being led and organized by Keio University Shounan Fujisawa Campus (SFC). This academic and business gathering helps share and discuss socio-economic issues seen in Japan and overseas.

I attended an invitation-only seminar presented by former President of Ecuador Jamil Mahuad on 15 January, 2011. The event was held in Tokyo, Japan, being coordinated by both Japan Research Institute and Harvard Law School, where Mr. Mahuad is Co-founder and Senior Advisor of the International Negotiation Program. A nominee for the Nobel Peace Prize in 1999, Mr. Mahuad presented an open talk and discussion on negotiation and conflict resolution, associated with the Peru-Ecuador border dispute.

I was appointed to the post of a public alumni contact person for Delft University of Technology (TU Delft) in the Netherlands. In this regard, I will play an active role in strengthening and exploring its worldwide network as both a representative of the Japanese local chapter and one of the ambassadors of TU Delft.
